RingCentral pricing and RingCentral cost per user with plans, boosters and team totals
RingCentral RingEX is reported at $20 per user per month for Core, $25 for Advanced and $35 for Ultra on annual billing, or $30, $35 and $45 month to month. Automatic recording and the HubSpot and Salesforce integrations start on Advanced, and queues, texting and AI are sold as boosters on top. A 10 person office that needs recording and CRM logging pays about $250 a month before taxes and fees.
RingCentral plans and prices
RingCentral's add-on prices and the 33 percent annual saving were read on ringcentral.com on October 12, 2026. The page does not print RingEX seat prices in our US check, so the plan figures come from Ringly's and CloudTalk's 2026 RingCentral pricing reviews, which agree with each other. Treat them as a benchmark and confirm them in your quote.
| Plan | Yearly | Monthly | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Core | $20 per user | $30 per user | Calling, texting limits, video, team chat |
| Advanced | $25 per user | $35 per user | Automatic call recording, CRM integrations such as HubSpot and Salesforce, multi-site |
| Ultra | $35 per user | $45 per user | Device status reports, unlimited storage, advanced analytics |
Yearly totals per user are $240 on Core, $300 on Advanced and $420 on Ultra. Both providers that publish these numbers say taxes and regulatory fees are added on top.
The add-ons that change the RingCentral bill
Core looks cheap until the office needs something it leaves out. These are the charges buyers report most often.
- Call Queues Booster: $35 on RingCentral's add-on page.
- SMS Booster: $25, because Core includes only 25 texts per user.
- AI Receptionist: from $39.
- Conversational Intelligence: from $60.
- Extra phone numbers, toll-free minutes and international calling: priced separately.
- Taxes and regulatory fees: added to every invoice.
A team that starts on Core at $20 and then adds recording, queues and texting usually ends up on Advanced plus boosters, so the useful number is the all-in monthly total, not the entry price.
How much RingCentral costs by team size
Here is what a US team pays per month on RingCentral Advanced, the plan that carries recording and CRM logging, before taxes, fees and boosters. The Youvoip column is Business, which includes recording, CRM integrations, business texting and queues. Youvoip bills at least two seats.
| Team | RingCentral Advanced | Youvoip Business |
|---|---|---|
| 3 users | $75 yearly or $105 monthly | $58.50 yearly or $117 monthly |
| 5 users | $125 yearly or $175 monthly | $97.50 yearly or $195 monthly |
| 10 users | $250 yearly or $350 monthly | $195 yearly or $390 monthly |
| 25 users | $625 yearly or $875 monthly | $487.50 yearly or $975 monthly |
The honest reading: on yearly billing Youvoip Business costs $55 less a month for 10 users, which is $660 a year. Month to month the order flips, because RingCentral Advanced at $35 per seat is $4 cheaper than Youvoip Business at $39. If you pay monthly and need nothing beyond the Advanced feature set, RingCentral is the lower bill.
Which RingCentral plan do you need?
Pick Core only if you need calling, a menu and voicemail and nobody will ask for call recordings or a CRM log. Pick Advanced if a sales, support or intake team needs recording, HubSpot or Salesforce logging, or more than one location. Ultra fits managers who want device reports and deeper analytics. Add boosters one at a time and price each against the seat count that will really use it, because queues and texting are often needed by three people, not thirty. The common mistake is moving the whole office to Advanced when only the front desk and sales need it.
Is RingCentral worth the money?
RingCentral is worth it for companies that need hundreds of integrations, offices in several countries or a full contact center, and it has a much longer track record than newer providers. It is harder to justify for a US office of 5 to 30 people that needs a phone menu, recording and a CRM connection, because those basics sit in the second tier and queues and texting cost extra. For that team a provider with the basics on every plan and a published price is simpler to budget.
What you get for the same budget on Youvoip
Every Youvoip seat is a full phone line with a two-seat minimum, no contract and the price on the page. Essentials is $12.50 per user per month billed yearly or $25 monthly, and includes a number, a multi-level auto attendant, ring groups, voicemail to email with transcription, automatic call recording kept 90 days and call analytics per person. Business is $19.50 yearly or $39 monthly and adds business texting, call queues, a year of searchable recordings, HubSpot, Salesforce and Zoho integrations and video meetings. Youvoip includes unlimited calling in the US and Canada only, so a team that calls abroad every day should price RingCentral's international plans first.

RingCentral pricing questions
How much does RingCentral cost per month?
RingCentral RingEX is reported at $20, $25 and $35 per user per month for Core, Advanced and Ultra on annual billing, or $30, $35 and $45 month to month. Boosters for queues, texting and AI add $25 to $60 or more, and taxes and fees come on top.
Does RingCentral require a contract?
RingCentral sells month to month at higher rates and discounts annual billing by up to 33 percent. Longer terms and larger accounts are negotiated with a rep, so ask for the notice period and any early termination terms in writing before you sign.
Does RingCentral have a free plan?
RingCentral does not sell a free business phone plan, and its free trials run for a limited time. To hear a phone menu before you pay anyone, build a call flow in the Youvoip VoIP demo and hear it run in your browser.
Why is my RingCentral bill higher than the plan price?
The seat price excludes taxes, regulatory fees, extra numbers and boosters. Queues, texting beyond the included allowance and AI features are billed separately, so a plan that looks like $20 per user can land well above that once the office turns those features on.
Leaving RingCentral without a gap in service
Start with the agreement: find the term end date, the notice period and any early termination fee. Export the call recordings and voicemails you must keep, because they stay in the RingCentral account. Then build the new menu, ring groups and voicemail boxes, register SIP compatible desk phones, invite the team and test while RingCentral keeps answering. Submit the port for every number and cancel only after calls arrive on the new system. Once the numbers have moved, update the number everywhere it is printed, including the site, and an AI website builder makes that a quick edit.
